What is Artist Logs?

Artist Logs is a web design agency that specialises in communication solutions for artists, and arts organisations. Inspired by the increasing use of weblogs as a powerful customer communication tool and marketing vehicle, our organisation was the first to specialise in weblogs for musicians and other artists.

Who is Artist Logs?

Artist Logs was founded in 2003 by web developer Andy Hume. A freelance designer since 1998, he is the founder and editor of UsableType, a highly influential and award-winning site devoted to the art of typography on the web.

His experience in commerical web development has seen him working on projects for the likes of Ford, Sony, Yell, and Lloyds TSB.

Having worked as a professional orchestral and chamber musician for a number of years, Andrew is in the unique position of understanding both industries in great detail.

What does Artist Logs do?

Artist Logs designs and builds websites for musicians and artists. We specialise in design that encourages communication between you and your audience, opening and extending your artistic work to the broadest possible audience via the powerful tools of the web.
